On Wednesday, 24 September, between 11:45-16:00, the University of Tartu Student Union is offering all students a free lunch at Tõllakuur – the much-loved and well-known instant noodles popular among students.
From 12 June to 21 September, all University of Tartu staff and students and everyone else are welcome to complete the orienteering course “Exploring Tartu along Struve Geodetic Arc”.
On 23 May 2025, Minister of Education and Research Kristina Kallas approved the results of the external evaluation of Estonian research and development. The University of Tartu was the only institution in Estonia to receive a positive evaluation in all six fields: natural sciences, engineering and technology, medical and health sciences, agriculture and veterinary sciences, social sciences, and humanities and the arts.
On 21 February at 14, university members were invited to the ceremony and concert dedicated to the 107th anniversary of the Republic of Estonia in the university’s assembly hall.
