International Ph.D. Summer School 2018
In June 26-29, 80 researchers of Economics, Management, Law and Public Administration from nine countries have met in Kubija for the PhD Summer School. During the four days, six guest lectures have been given on topics ranging from the blockchain technologies and public sector issues to the international economics and statistical methods. 18 working paper presentations and 12 poster presentations given by doctoral students took place. In addition to that there was a workshop for supervisors as well as a voice and improvisation training for all participants. Participants discussed on various research topics, shared new ideas and expanded their professional network of contacts. Evening activities in the open air and the entertainment program helped to relax from intensive day work and get to know each other better. Summer School was organized by the Doctoral School of Economics and Innovation with the support of the University of Tartu ASTRA project PER ASPERA and the European Union Regional Development Fund.
