Are you interested in how science-based startups are created and how students can enter this world? If you would like to learn more about deep tech, the startup ecosystem, and the opportunities it offers to students, you are welcome to attend the MIMIR Fellows intro evening on 18 March in room 1030.
MIMIR Fellows is a program that gives students a comprehensive overview of the deep tech startup world: who the key players are, how decisions are made, and how ideas are brought to life. During the program, participants also build valuable contacts and networks that can help them find internships, job opportunities, team members, or even discover a completely new career path.
The intro evening is also suitable for those who do not yet know exactly what deep tech or a science-based startup means. What matters most is curiosity, an open mindset, and a willingness to learn — the necessary knowledge, contacts, and broader understanding of the field come with the program.
The program is led by the University of Tartu Chair of Entrepreneurship in cooperation with Startup Estonia. Only 12 students from universities across Estonia will be selected for the program by invitation.
Students from all fields are welcome.
The intro evening is a great opportunity to get a more thorough overview of the program, ask questions, and learn how it is possible to receive an invitation to the MIMIR Fellows program.
