Prof. Toomas Haldma was elected for the position of Professor of Accounting
Professor Toomas Haldma was elected for the position of Professor of Accounting on part-time basis at the Nord University in northern Norway on 1 January 2019.
Professor Haldma has been working closely with the university since 2010 co-supervising and reviewing doctoral theses and conducting visiting seminars. The lecturers from Bodo have contributed to our master and doctoral level courses and have taken part in doctoral summer school events. Prof Haldma will continue to work at our School.
Nord University is a state university based in Bodo, Northern Norway, which was established in 2016 as a merger of Nordland University (established 1994) and Nesna University College and Nord-Trøndelag University College. Nord University operates in nine different cities in Northern Norway and has 12,000 students in its five faculties. Nord University has a long tradition of providing economic education, as its predecessor, Bodo Business School, was founded in 1985.
