The Thesis Topic Fair will not take place in 2025. We kindly ask all students to contact potential supervisors directly regarding a thesis topic of interest. Information about supervisors and their research areas can be found in the school’s contact section.

By when must the topic and supervisor selection be registered in Moodle.ee?
All required deadlines, depending on the level of study, are listed in the academic calendar. You can find the academic calendar under study documents on the “Studying" page.

How to choose a supervisor?
First, find a topic that interests you. Then check whose research area it matches with. After that, contact the supervisor directly via email.

Can several students choose the same topic?
It is possible to write a thesis together with a fellow student. However, writing several different theses on exactly the same topic in the same year is not allowed.

What if I cannot find a supervisor?
If you are really struggling, please turn to the coordinator of your thesis course.
