Research at the School of Economics and Business Administration
The School of Economics and Business Administration is Estonia’s leading and rapidly developing research center in economics, with strong achievements also in international competition. This is reflected in its high positions in global university rankings. In the 2025 Times Higher Education World University Rankings, the School is ranked 301–400 in business and economics and 201–250 in social sciences, while the University of Tartu as a whole is ranked 301–350. In the QS World University Rankings, the School is placed 501–550 in economics and econometrics and 401–450 in social sciences and management.
