The Nordic International conference "Consumers Behaviour and Companies Strategic Orientations in Arts, Creative Industries and Tourism".

 

 The conference focuses:

  • Strengthen collaborations between Nordic countries, Nordic universities, and creative industries organizations. 
  • Work out development strategies targeting different categories of customers with a special focus on children. To work out an effective strategy for the development of the industry, as well as its individual sectors and organizations, it is necessary to work out strategies based on data analysis. 
  • identifying patterns of consumer behaviour, patterns of innovative behaviour of institutions, and the influence of innovative behaviour on the performance of companies. 
  • Disseminate knowledge about approaches to data collection, analysis, and application in the formation of development strategies for companies in the creative industries. 
  • Promotion of Nordic culture in the Nordic countries and beyond, with both a general promotion strategy and the promotion strategy for individual creative industries organization as an ambassador of Nordic culture. For instance - organization of Nordic countries days / events/ performance/ exhibitions in other countries (Italy, Spain etc)

The conference is planned to be held within the framework of the Estonian Fashion Week (June 7-9) in Estonian National Museum in Tartu. The leaders of the fashion week are partners of the project and will contribute to the organization and development of the conference.

 

June 7

14:30-16:00 – Poster session for students (presentations of “Entrepreneurship in Arts and Creative Industries” course projects)

 

June 8

Venue: Tartu Centre for Creative Industries, Creative Space Aparaaditehas, The University of Tartu Museum, Tartu Old City Centre

10:00-19:00 – Cultural programme and gala dinner with key-speakers

 

June 9
