Swedbank AS supports bachelor's and master’s Students at the School of Economics and Business Administration. New scholarships are aimed at socially active students with outstanding academic achievements, helping them focus on their studies and enhance future career opportunities.
Anne Reino, Head of the School of Economics and Business Administration at the University of Tartu, expressed gratitude for Swedbank's support. She highlighted that Swedbank’s contribution is an excellent example of private funding being involved in higher education. "The collaboration between Swedbank and the School of Economics and Business Administration supports the development of future financial professionals in Estonia, as the scholarships prioritize students with a demonstrated interest in the financial sector," said Reino.
Bachelor’s Students
Swedbank's scholarship for bachelor's students is designed for economics students who have completed at least one semester of studies. Up to three scholarships, each worth €1,200, are awarded annually. The application deadline is April 1.
Master’s Students
Master's scholarships are designed for Innovation and Technology Management and Quantitative Economics students. Up to two scholarships, each worth €4,200, are awarded annually. The application deadline is October 1.

Scholarship competitions are announced on the University of Tartu Foundation's website and university channels at least two months before the application deadline. Visit the Foundation’s website to explore current scholarship opportunities.
The collaboration between Swedbank and the School of Economics and Business Administration goes beyond scholarships. Starting in the fall of 2024, faculty members at the School of Economics and Business Administration will have the opportunity to undertake internships at Swedbank to enhance their expertise in areas of interest. Specialized lectures for students are also being developed as part of this partnership.
