Pre-incubation

Pre-incubation for Entrepreneurship is an excellent opportunity to test your business idea with the support of mentors and practical workshops. In addition to developing your idea, you can receive practical advice from mentors, lecturers, and fellow students—plus earn 6 ECTS from a student perspective. Meetings take place once a week in Spring 2026.

Programme Schedule

1. Opening session – Kick-off event where spin-off companies share their experiences, followed by the first meeting with mentors.
2. Idea and Idea Evaluation – Assess and refine your idea together with Siim Läänelaid (TalTech), gaining valuable feedback for further development.
3. Market and Market Development – Understanding your target market, its size, and positioning.
4. Teamwork and Organisational Management – With Veiko Valkiainen.
5. Intellectual Property and Its Protection – With Prof. Aleksei Kelli.
6. Business Law and Founders’ Agreements – With Alex Luik (Hedman Legal).
7. Investment and Venture Capital – Overview of funding opportunities and investor expectations.
8. Pitching ABC – Fundamentals of delivering a strong pitch.
9. Mentor Carousel – Intensive mentoring session with multiple experts.
10. Marketing – Developing your market approach and communication strategy.
11. Elevator Pitch Presentation – Final pitch delivered as part of the Delta X Challenge.
