On March 28, the students of Business Administration had the opportunity to learn about the organisation of their practical training.
The information hour began with the introduction to basic requirements and important dates of the internship, lead by the programme leader Maret Ahonen.
This was followed by a presentation of two representatives from an international company Konecranes, Külli and Signe, who talked about the opportunities for having an internship or even a summer job at their company and invited students to apply.
The guests pointed out that accounting is, contrary to popular belief, a very interesting area. The students were intrigued and keen on applying, with one of them having only one question: "Where can I apply?"

After Konecranes, the UT Career Service gave a few tips and pointers on how to successfully apply for an internship as well as a few useful webpages to look for internships, including tudengiveeb.ee, a site designed for bringing students and employers together, which is also in English now.
The information hour was wrapped up by a third year student Mariam, who talked about her experience in doing two internships, one at her home country, Georgia and one in Switzerland.
