Mariia Chebotareva was Recognised in National Contest for University Students

On 15 December, authors of the best student papers of 2021 were awarded at the Estonian Academy of Sciences, among them our visiting lecturer Mariia Chebotareva.

A total of 75 papers were awarded at three levels of study (professional higher education and bachelor’s studies, master’s studies and doctoral studies) and in six fields of research (natural sciences, engineering and technology, medical and health sciences, agricultural and veterinary sciences, social sciences, and humanities and the arts). Besides the national awards, special prizes were presented to 20 authors in recognition of their research.

In the field of social sciences at the level of doctoral studies, Mariia Chebotareva recieved recognition for her research on "Functional Overlapping Competing Jurisdictions (FOCJs) as a Possible Tool for Inter-municipal Cooperation in the Provision of Russian School Services". Mariia would like to thank her supervisors Diana Eerma and Peter Joachim Friedrich for the support and the entire team of UT School of Economics and Business Administration for their supportive and pleasant work environment.
