The internationally renowned mentor program Creative Destruction Lab (CDL), highly valued by students interested in entrepreneurship, will begin its 4th season this fall. Students at all levels of study can participate in activities and coursework related to CDL during the autumn semester:
· Bachelor’s students are welcome to apply as program volunteers, who will take part in organizing the sessions and earn credits under the course Project-based Internship (SVMJ.02.014)
· Master’s and doctoral students from the School of Economics are invited to attend the course Applied Creative Destruction Lab with Startups SVMJ.00.032, 3 ECTS. In this course, students not only gain a systematic overview of building a startup but also contribute to the success of startups by participating in CDL sessions.
· Doctoral students from all disciplines are encouraged to attend the course Science-Based Entrepreneurship, LTGI.00.005, 2 ECTS. In this course, Tõnu Esko, PhD, the Vice-Rector for Entrepreneurship, and Heli Valtna, PhD, a scientist with practical entrepreneurship experience, and guest lecturers from the startup ecosystem, provide a systematic overview of building a science-based business.
Students involved with CDL highly value the opportunity to gain behind-the-scenes insights into the startup world and to build a network in preparation for working in rapidly growing companies.
