The volume of the micro-credential programs is 12–30 ECTS. The programs are designed with an adult learner's suitable study load and pace in mind, so they can generally be completed in one or two semesters.
The University of Tartu School of Economics and Business Administration offers micro-credential programmes in Business, Economics, and Society. Applications are open for the fall semester from July 1st, 2025, to August 25th, 2025.

Participants in the micro-degree program study alongside students, and the classes are conducted in a session-based or online format suitable for working individuals. The study is paid. The micro-degree programs at the university are structured so that those who complete the program can, if they wish, continue their studies based on a degree program and achieve higher education or a degree. Upon completion of the program, participants receive a certificate of continuing education from the University of Tartu.
